The result has been better than last year. Last year, 61.73% of students passed. A total of 6,71,653 students appeared in the examination, out of which 4,14,587 students passed. Udupi district has the highest number of students, 92.20 percent of students have passed in this district. After this, 90.91 percent of students passed in Dakshina Kannada and 51.42 percent of students in Chitradurga district. The girls have beaten the boys again. A total of 68.24 percent of girls have passed while 55.29 percent of boys have passed.
